LaTeX, made readable.

Inline $…$ as Unicode. Display formulas laid out over several rows, or typeset as pictures in terminals that show Sixel graphics.

# As text

Fractions, roots, limits, integrals, aligned rows and matrices, drawn with the terminal's own characters. Works in any terminal, over SSH too.

Display formulas laid out as text

# As pictures

The same formulas typeset, in Windows Terminal 1.22 or later and other terminals with Sixel graphics, with the optional module.

  • View → Formula pictures turns them on or off
  • The module is a separate download beside each release
Formulas typeset as pictures

# Errors before they reach the compiler

A formula that would not typeset (an unclosed brace, \left without \right, \frac with one argument) is underlined as an error, without any model. Rules of writing show as warnings: cos without \, 2*3, <=; F7 puts in the fix.
